Welcome to the world of Lunar: Dragon Song! Much like the changes to Lunar in the thousand years between the Lunar: The Silver Star and Lunar: Eternal Blue, the world was a much different place a thousand years prior to the adventures of Dragonmaster Alex and his friends. While the differences are drastic, there are still locations familiar to the Lunar universe. Caldor Isle is again the home to the game's protagonist, now called Caldor Continent. The Weird Woods of Lunar 1 (called Thieve's Woods in Dragon Song) are one in the same, and some locations with different names seem to resemble some locales from the original Lunar games. In addition, Ignatius and the Vile Tribe have built a giant castle. This castle lies deep in the heart of the Frontier. Besides the returning prominent Lunar places, other exciting landmarks and towns were a part of Lunar during the time period of Lunar: Dragon Song such as Healriz, home to the beastmen, and the Sangrud Bridge, which links the continent of Wrick to the distant Frontier.

The Continent of Caldor
This is the largest continent on the world of Lunar. Here you will find the port town of Searis, home to our hero Jian, along with Healriz where the beastmen reside. Legends of a White Dragon also circulate in the small village of Perit, which is located near the Thieves' (Weird) Woods.

The Continent of Wrick
Many beings with unusual powers live on this continent. The Cathedral of Althena honoring the Goddess Althena is here along with the Sangrud Bridge that leads to the Frontier. Also, scholars built the Magic City of Vane on this continent to study magic. Magical items that are made in Vane are sold in Leephon, a large merchant city, also located on Wrick.

The Frontier
The Vile Tribe lives on this desolate continent. Ignatius' Castle is also located here, along with the Sandra Desert where drifting sands block the way through this continent. The Sungrid Bridge connects Wrick with the Frontier.

The Continent of Ghulian
Covered by vast forests, Ghulian is difficult to travel. Both The Tower of Kirlis and Valley of Neza are here, as is the village of Rebric.
